More Once Upon a Time Goodies

We're just about a week away from the glorious first episode of Once Upon a Time, and we have been given some great new images from ABC. These are some of the best promo shots I've seen in a while, so sit back and enjoy:

BAMF
I have more but the uploader isn't working so I'll have to add them later. The photos obviously don't belong to me and are the work of the great artist who created them. I found some of them on the wonderful site http://once-storybrooke.net/ which has a lot of cool news about the show.

Enjoy, Kathy

I'm away for a day and so much Once Upon A Time news comes out

I had 32 e-mails in one account and two in another, 300 new FaceBook updates and countless Tweets and I was only away from the Internet for 24 hours! Holy Hannah peeps!

If I can I'll let you know where I was, but for now let's check in with Once Upon a Time. First up, Ginny! Oh much love for Ginnifer Goodwin. She seems like such an adorable, bubbly, smart person. I would love to have a cuppa with her (and Ginny you can totally come over to my place, I'm working on frothing the milk I swear).
She is a cover girl this month on the wonderful BackStage magazine, as well as having a great interview inside. I mean great interview too; I hate when the interviewer has no idea what's going on. This person asked some great questions.

Interview lies beyond the link

Jennifer Morrison is also making the rounds:

And here

Last but not least, Once Upon a Time as a whole. Ad Age has found that Once Upon a Time is the most anticipated new show despite airing up to a month behind other shows. Well done to Once and to fans!

If you've found anything else about Once let me know.

August: Month in review (BEDA #31)

Well, this is the last day of BEDA, I thought I’d have a look back at the month of August.

It started off with a bang with my friend and roommate S’s birthday. We celebrated by decorating the house with balloons, streamers, and post it notes; what better way to wake up? We acknowledged Esther day by buying These Star Won’t Go Out bracelets and by telling our family and other loved ones how we feel. We experienced the elation of finding out that the Internet rumours of Eureka’s cancellation were fake, only to have the knife turned and Syfy revoke their decision just days later.

I invited you into my life and home and told you things.  I went to a male review show and took you along with me to experience the hilarity of the event and opened the doors to my bathroom with a look at my DIY disaster. You danced with me when I celebrated my coffee win and we all laughed when the Rumplestiltskin Once Upon A Time poser was revealed.

August also heralded the introduction of my Favourite Female Character on TV series. There is still my top five to go, as well as some guest posts and special mentions.

In August my ‘Is James really Harry’s father?’ post was still the most popular, followed by Linkin Park quotes Battlestar: Galactica, Book Time! The Night Creatures: Burn Bright, and Sad day for Science Fiction fans (BEDA #9). Most of you still found me through Google searching for Harry Potter references, but Twitter and Gateworld also brought a few more of you over.

So all in all August was a pretty good month. My baby sister turned 20 and my big bro 27. Times are changing and people are growing up. Hugs and kisses all around.

But don’t think because I’m not posting every day that I will forget about you. There are still movies to watch, books to read, and TV shows to talk about. I’ll still be here a while longer yet, if you’ll let me.

So, for my last day I’d like to ask you all a favour. How did you get here? Are you a FaceBook friend, did you find me on Twitter, or were you searching for something and decided to stick around? Leave a comment and let me know!

Last two Once Upon a Time posters

Here they are, looking so pretty. We're getting closer to the premiere, October 23 folks! Yes!!

What do you think of these? Personally, the Prince one looks a little... odd, but the Emma one looks to beautiful.

Nothing much (BEDA #13)

Hey my bloggy babies, what's going on? Nothing much over this way, just had company over (I know right! Company! Like I'm a real adult and stuff and people come over and eat and talk about the world and politics and then they say thank you for the lovely time and then they leeeeave!) and now we're playing some Guitar Hero(TM and all that) till sleepy time.

What did everyone else do this fine Saturday?

Oh, before I go, a new Once Upon A Time poster... but first you have to prepare yourself. Because this one is very scary so please remove any small children and people with heart problems before you look.

I know. That's not a pretty sight, and yet I cannot look away.

I will leave you with that.

Tv time: Once Upon a Time

New info about the show!!!

Unfortunately I wasn't about to get to SDCC for the pilot viewing, but people who were there said that it was really good. The writers have said that there will be similarities to the way that LOST was done, in that there will be a large arc and mythology, but they also said that it won't be hard for new people to enter the series. That's a plus on both points because it means that there's another show that will have me waiting for the next episode, but also it won't be hard for me to get new people into the show!

I also loved that they said they're not retelling the fairy tales, but telling the ones that we don't know about. I love this idea, the 'behind the scenes' of the stories that we all grew up with. Awesome!

Here's a link to the review , and here's the link to the official page in case you've forgotten it.

Let me know what you think. Are you as excited about it as I am?

New Once Upon a Time trailer

Lots of lol'z in this one, with more Rumplestiltskin aka Robert Carlyle! This ad also shows more about the overall theme and a bit of the timeline. Can't wait till it starts, so close yet so far away!

What do you all think? Looking good, did you have to pause it when Rumpy entered the screen? Put it in the comments.

Once Upon a Time: Robert Carlyle

I found this picture and I just have to share it with everyone. I was never a fan of his character Rush in Stargate: Universe (why was he kept around when he clearly was not the smartest person on the ship?), but the idea of him playing Rumplestiltskin hilarious. Take a look at this picture and see if you agree

I don't own this picture. If you own the copyright and want me to take it down please let me know in the comments
Scary? Hilarious? Worth an hour of your time to decide which you think? Let me know in the comments.
